Some #AtticClassic background: Timbre Coup formed in 2007 as a warm up band for a national touring act performing at The College of Saint Rose. They stayed together, becoming noted for heavy, progressive riffs and spacey grooves, creating music which pleased both listeners and dancers. Their style allowed them opportunities to play at large festivals and as openers for popular touring acts along the East Coast.
'Fools Gold' was a self-produced first effort, which came out in 2009, followed by 2 other albums. The band decided to take a break in 2014, as members explored other opportunities with similar bands Mister F, Lord Electro and GROOVESTICK. But they're still playing special shows.
The Attic Classic is “Part B” - the second song they wrote - off their first album ‘Fools Gold’.
